Mustard Seed Theatre will present Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale April 13-29, 2012.
The production will be set in modern-day Seattle and the shores of Alaska, with Native-American music and mythology infusing the production.
General auditions for The Winter’s Tale will be held on
Sunday, October 9 from 6-8 pm and Monday, October 10 from 5-7 pm.

We are especially interested in anyone who performs Native American music or dance, and are looking for a diverse cast. We use Special Appearance agreements with AEA, so both Union and non-Union actors are encouraged to audition.
Auditions will be held in Classroom 231, next to the Black Box Theatre at Fontbonne University.
Please prepare a 1-2 minute Shakespeare monologue or a monologue that comes from a similarly complex “language” play.
Please bring a copy of your headshot/resume.
Callbacks will be held the weekend of October 15 and 16.

Leontes, Polixenes, Camillo, Antigonus – 30 – 40’s
Florizel and friends – 16-18
Female:
Hermione, Emilia – late 20’s – 30’s
Perdita and friends – 16-18
Any gender:
Shepherd – 40-50’s
Clown – 20-s to 30’s
Various “lords” and “ladies” of the courts
